Dr. Schorer is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He served as Medical Director for Mercy San Juan and Mercy General Hospital and is a past member of the board for EPMG. He currently serves as clinical faculty for UCD Medical School. He is the Medical Director for Recruiting, EMP Western Region and Medical Director of Physician Services-Western Region.
Dr. Schorer is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Schorer has worked as an Emergency Physician for 13 years in Sacramento where he lives with his wife and 3 teenaged children.
Dr. Schorer earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California in Davis, California. He received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.
