EPMG Leadership Team

EPMG believes that its success and the success of the group in partnership with hospitals and communities begins with our physician leadership.  The oversight of the Medical Group is conducted by our Board of Directors in conjunction with our President and CEO, Norman Label, MD, and our COO, Michael Osmundson, MD.  Our Executive Management Partners for business and clinical operations are the EMP Management Group based in Canton, Ohio.  Regional Leaders and Facility Directors oversee the daily operations of all Emergency Department partners
 
EPMG Board of Directors

EPMG's Board of Directors is elected by our full-time partners and serve for a 3-year term. Monthly meetings, led by Norman Label, MD, President and CEO,  include a review of EPMG's financial and business health, discussion of operational endeavors, and resolution of issues affecting our clinicians. Resolution is achieved by a democratic voting method, and new policy is written and distributed from the board.  Michael Osmundson, COO, is tasked with the operational execution of board decisions and implementing the EPMG strategic plan.
 
EPMG Regional Leadership

Each geographic region is led by a Regional Medical Director. This individual is responsible for ensuring that performance standards set by EPMG and a particular area's hospitals are upheld. The Regional Director is also imperative in bringing issues of concern to importance among his/her region to the EPMG Board of Directors.  Regional Directors meet on a quarterly to annual basis along with Board of Directors.
 
EPMG Facility Directors

Each hospital facility is led by an ED Medical Director. This individual is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the ED and the physician staff. He/she acts as a liaison between the hospital administration, the ED physician staff and the hospital medical staff. He/she is expected to take the lead in improving customer satisfaction.
