John Herling, MD, FAAEP, FACEP, was recently elected Department Chair for the Department of Family Practice (which includes the Emergency Department) for Eisenhower Medical Center.

Dr. Herling has been with EPMG since August 2002.  Dr. Herling's prior experience includes Medical Director for American Medical Response Services in Shasta County, CA.  Dr. Herling served at Redding Medical Center as Quality Director,  Assistant ED Medical Director, and DIrector of the AirMed Team Flight Program prior to joining EPMG.   He is also a past oral examiner for the America Board of Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Herling is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine as well as in Family Practice.

Dr. Herling replaces Dr. David Romness who has served as Chair for the last four years.
