Jerry Oliaro DO

Dr. Jerry Oliaro started with Emergency Physicians' Medical Group at American River Hospital in 1991.
After working in EMS for many years, Dr. Oliaro was offered the opportunity to serve as chairman and Medical Director at Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, California. In this new role, his perspective on the business of emergency medicine has evolved. However, the main focus has been and will continue to be patient care. The goal is to care for those in need with dignity and excellence.
Dr. Oliaro previously worked at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center in Oak Park, Illinois. His Emergency Medical Services work includes being Medical Director for Baystar Ambulance Services in Sacramento, California, Base Hospital Medical Director in Carmichael, California and County EMS Agency Medical Advisor in Sacramento, California.
Dr. Oliaro is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Oliaro earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and Chicago, Illinois. He earned his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Oliaro performed his residency in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Chicago Osteopathic Medical Centers in Chicago and Olympia Fields, Illinois.
