Jay Fisher MD, FAAP

Dr. Jay Fisher serves as the Director of Emergency Medicine at University Medical Center Pediatrics Emergency Department in Las Vegas, Nevada beginning January 1, 2007. Dr. Fisher has been an Emergency Physician with EPMG since 1993.
Dr. Fisher previously worked as Associate Director of Pediatric Medicine Services at South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. He was also Director of Performance Improvement for Pediatric Emergency Services at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Fisher is residency trained in Pediatrics. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Fisher earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry Summa Cum Laude from Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts. He earned his medical degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He performed his internship, residency and fellowship in Pediatrics at Boston University/Boston City Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
