Jack Wood DO

Dr. Jack Wood serves as the CFO and Secretary to the Board of Directors of Emergency Physicians Medical Group (EPMG). He is also the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board for EPMG. Dr. Wood also serves as the Chief of Staff Elect and Vice Chairman of the Emergency Department at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Wood is the Medical Director of AMR. He is also an Oral Examiner with both the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the Medical Board of California.
Dr. Wood is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He is also Board Certified with the National Board of Medical Examiners for Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery and with the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Wood is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Wood earned his undergraduate degree from Luther College in Decorah, IA. He received his medical degree from Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Des Moines, IA. He completed an Internship at Des Moines General Hospital and an Emergency Medicine Residency at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Wood has worked as an Emergency Physician with EPMG since 1986. He lives in Sacramento with his wife.
