Mercy Medical Center is a full-service, 136-bed, non-profit community health system serving residents in Clinton, Iowa and surrounding communities in eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois. Services include a Radiation Oncology Center in affiliation with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, two cardiac catheterization labs, renal dialysis, and a certified Level IV Community Trauma Center. The emergency department has an annual volume of 21,000 with 13 beds. The ED is a certified Level IV Community Trauma Center. The ED has 24 hours of physician coverage daily, with 12-hour shifts. There is an additional 12 hours of midlevel coverage daily. Clinicians utilize the EMR FirstNet®.
