The most rewarding experience in your career thus far.
Helping to redefine the culture at EPMG to be a more inclusive and transparent organization that is ready to thrive for another thirty-five years. Three years ago, we had a series of retreats where we discussed the challenges for emergency medicine and EPMG. From those meetings, we created a new mission, vision, and values. We also put together the outline for our partnership program that has helped to better engage all of our providers at their sites, as well as with EPMG.

Which EPMG value do you identify with most?
Quality. I continually strive to do the best I can in my role every day and I have the same high expectations for our team.

The person with the biggest influence in your life.
My father, who is a retired physician, has led me to continually challenge myself to strive to succeed in whatever I do;   throughout my school years and my involvement in team sports he instilled a competitive spirit.  I admire his ability of including everyone around him, making them feel they are part of a team contributing to an overall goal.

One thing most people don’t know about you.
I played rugby for the Scotland National Team in high school and U-21 levels.

Your favorite recording artist or group.
U2 and Coldplay

What do you enjoy doing with your free time?
Golf. I grew up playing in Scotland. I am an overseas member at the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, Scotland, which is close to where my parents live.
