Marshall Medical Center serves all of the Western Slope of Placer County in the Sierra foothills between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. Internists run a hospitalist program for IM and FP patients. There is an on call SART team (trained nurse, police officer, and women’s center volunteer). All neurosurgical cases and pediatric ICU patients are transferred to Sacramento (UC-Davis, Sutter, or Mercy).

Backup: State of the art CT scanner, ultrasound, including color Doppler. There is a trauma protocol and trauma team response for critical trauma patients who come to Marshall Medical.
