Emergency Physicians Medical Group is pleased to announce that Dr. Matt Frankovsky is the new Site Director at Mercy General Hospital Emergency Department as of June 1, 2010. Dr Frankovsky has been with EPMG since 2001 and previously served as the Quality Director for the Emergency Department at Methodist Hospital. Dr. Frankovsky also served as the EMS Director and the Chief Medical Officer of the Sacramento area Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT CA-11).

Dr. Frankovsky received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. Dr. Frankovsky completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California.

Dr. Frankovsky is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians.
