• 18 ED beds with a dedicated Pediatric Room and Critical Care Room
• 2.0-2.5 patients per hour
• 20% of ED patients are admitted from non-fast track area
• Moderate to High Acuity, with significant amount of EMS and pediatric patients
• Contiguous Fast Track, staffed by midlevel providers

 

Coverage/Shifts: Physician shifts at 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am, plus 20+ hours of coverage by experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners; recently added double coverage 11am-11pm
